Q

Who can list a space on Stoorez?

A

Any individual or business with legal ownership, lease, or authorized control over a storage or parking space in India may list their property, subject to KYC completion and property verification.

Q

What types of spaces can be listed?

A

Hosts can list private rooms, garages, warehouses, godowns, or legally-approved parking spots (open, stilt, basement) that comply with local and society norms.

Q

Is there a cost to list my space?

A

No. Listing is free. Stoorez only deducts a commission/service fee from successful, completed bookings.

What documents are required to list my space?

A

Government-issued ID (e.g., PAN, Aadhaar), Proof of ownership/lease (sale deed, rent agreement, utility bill), Society NOC if applicable, For businesses: GSTIN, incorporation certificate

How do I create a listing?

A

Register as a Host, complete KYC, upload accurate space details and photos, set your availability and pricing, and submit for review.

Q

Can I edit or remove my listing after it goes live?

A

Yes, you can update details or unlist your space at any time via your Host dashboard. Ensure existing bookings are honored or cancel as per policy.

Are there listing restrictions?

A

Yes. You cannot list encroached property, public spaces, areas under dispute, or spaces not legally approved for storage or parking. Refer to Stoorez policies for prohibited spaces and items.

Bookings & usage
Q

How are bookings managed?

A

Hosts receive booking requests through the platform. You may accept or decline requests based on availability. All coordination, check-in/check-out, and access management happen through Stoorez.

Can I refuse a booking?

A

You may decline a booking before confirmation, but repeated or late rejections may affect your status or attract penalties. Incase, if you don't feel package is safe you can do on intimating stoorez support

How do I provide access to the Seeker?

A

Upon booking confirmation, coordinate entry details via platform chat/call and hand over keys/access as described in your listing. Specify access hours and protocols.

Q

What if a Seeker overstays or leaves property behind?

A

You may charge overstay fees as listed, restrict access, and,after reasonable notice,initiate removal or report to authorities per the Overstay Policy.

Payments & payouts
Q

How will I receive payments?

A

Earnings (minus Stoorez fees and taxes) are transferred to your registered Indian bank account biweekly (on the 1st and 15th of each month), subject to completed, non-disputed bookings.

Are there any deductions?

A

Yes. Stoorez applies a platform service fee, GST (on fees), and, if applicable, TDS as per Indian law. No security deposit is collected by Stoorez by default.

Where can I view my earnings?

A

Log in to your Host dashboard to see current and upcoming payout cycles, past payments, and downloadable invoices.

Safety, compliance & issues
Q

What are my responsibilities regarding safety?

A

Ensure your space is safe, clean, and free of hazards. Disclose all known issues in your listing. Take immediate action if there are complaints of unsafe conditions, and cooperate with Stoorez support and local laws.

Am I liable for damage or theft?

A

Hosts are liable for maintaining the property. Loss or damage caused by Seekers can be claimed through Stoorez dispute mechanisms; however, insuring your property is strongly advised. Stoorez does not cover damages or provide insurance.

Q

What if I discover illegal or prohibited items?

A

Contact Stoorez support immediately. You may report to local authorities if necessary. Never handle hazardous, illegal, or unclaimed goods directly without following proper procedure.

How do I handle society or neighborhood concerns?

A

Notify your RWA/society as per their policies before listing. Any recurring community or housing complaints may result in space deactivation.

Legal & tax related
Q

Do I need to pay tax on my rental earnings?

A

Yes. All income must be declared in your tax returns. GST or TDS may apply; Stoorez provides necessary invoices and Form 16A certificates for deducted TDS.

Q

Is listing my space legal?

A

Listing is legal if you have the right to license/use your property for the stated purpose and comply with zoning, housing society, RERA, and municipal norms.

How do I get support or resolve disputes?

A

Use the in-app support tool, email support@stoorez.com, or contact your dashboard's help section.

What if a dispute is not resolved?

A

Unresolved issues may proceed to mediation, arbitration, or relevant legal forums as per Stoorez policies and Indian law.

Q

Am I responsible for government and society permissions before listing my space?

A

Yes. As per Section 5.12, you must ensure all required permissions are obtained. Failing to do so may lead to legal action against you, delisting by Stoorez, and loss of payout.

What are the primary service categories available for booking on the Stoorez platform?

A

Stoorez operates an online, app-based platform that facilitates the discovery, booking, agreement, and payment for two main categories: Storage Services: Neighborhood Storage, Small Business Storage, and B2B Storage. Parking Services: Neighborhood Parking and Commercial Parking

Can I take bookings or payments outside Stoorez?

A

Strictly no. All communications, bookings, and financial transactions must occur via the platform. Violation leads to delisting and possible legal action.

Can I operate multiple spaces or locations?

A

Yes. You may list multiple spaces, provided each is legally controlled and fully compliant.

Am I notified about policy and payment changes?

A
